How to link matters – Ayora Knowledge Centre

Linked matters

Are you working on an engagement that has been split into multiple matters? Tracking the overall budget and billing can be a nightmare in those scenarios… unless you have ayora on your side!

Select one or more matters in the dashboard and click on the “Manage matter group” button at the bottom of the screen to create a grouping.

You can then manage the grouped matter from the Grouped Matters sub-tab in the dashboard. Specifically, you can:

Set a group-level budget and monitor actual against that;
Set a group-level billing schedule;
View group-level bills.

You can edit the groupings via the Manage Matter Groups button (the Grouped Matters sub-tab in the dashboard):

Delete a grouping (this does not delete the underlying matters, and only removes the grouping created in ayora); and
Remove individual matters from a grouping.
